The main Noodling area is to the North of the town, local knowledge is everything in this area of the outback; enquire at the Hotel or local shops for direction an the best area to fossick. An interesting tourist attraction here is the row of old miner's huts along the left side of the main street. There are other semi precious gemstones in the area such as Agate and Petrified Wood, and given the nature of the area ancient fossils are a possibility.
